Before you light your candle
  • What we keep (public stars): your first name, your baby’s name, and the date and message if you add them. Also the candle color, the time, and a record of when you agreed to this notice.
  • Why: to show your public star in our Remembrance Sky, so your baby is remembered.
  • Who sees it: everyone, unless you tick the box below. Anyone can see your public star: the first names, date and message you add. Please use first names only.
  • Private star (if you tick the box): your star’s names and words never leave your device. We don’t receive or save them. Your card is made on your own device.
  • What we don’t do: we never sell it. No ads. We don’t ask for your email.
  • Change your mind about a public star: email blessedlyheld@gmail.com with your baby’s name and the date you lit the candle. We’ll remove it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
  • Please use first names. You must be 13 or older.

Public stars are saved in our Remembrance Sky. Anyone can see them, and you can come back to visit your star anytime.

Privacy

Privacy: For public stars, we keep only your first name, your baby’s name, the date and message if you add them, the candle color, the time, and a record of when you agreed to this notice. For private stars, the names and words never leave your device, and we don’t receive or keep them. No email. Our site doesn’t save your IP address with your candle. Our web host and security service may keep short technical logs. We also count page visits, without any star details. A public star stays in the sky until you ask us to remove it. Email blessedlyheld@gmail.com and we’ll take it down. Some names are checked by a person before they show.
