Effective date: October 31, 2026
Updated October 31, 2026: We added a note about our Meta Pixel. It runs only on our home, shop, Brand Merch and Grand Opening pages, only with your yes, and never gets anything you share here.
Some things you share with Blessedly Held may say something about your health, like a pregnancy loss or infertility. We treat this with special care. 🤍
What we may collect
- Public remembrance stars: your first name, your baby’s name, an optional date, an optional message, a candle color, the time, and a record of when you agreed to our notice (the date and time, and which version you saw).
- Prayer requests: your first name (or “Anonymous”), your request, the date, and how many people prayed.
- Messages you send us: if you write about your health in our contact form or an email, we receive it. We use it only to reply to you.
What we don’t collect
- Private stars. If you keep your star private, it’s made and downloaded on your own device. Its names and words never reach us, and we never save them.
- We don’t ask for your email on the star or prayer forms.
- We don’t ask health questions on any form.
- Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to our site. It never gets the names or words from your star, prayer or message. We don’t use Google Analytics. If we turn on another analytics tool, we’ll update this policy first.
Where it comes from
Only from you, when you fill in a form or write to us.
Why we use it
- To show your public star or prayer on our site, because you asked us to.
- To reply to your message.
- To keep the sky and prayer wall safe. A person may read posts before they show.
How we handle it
Stars and prayers are stored on our website’s server (Namecheap), protected by Cloudflare. Only the owner of Blessedly Held can see them, in our website’s admin area. Messages are kept in our Gmail inbox for 2 years, then we delete them.
Your yes (consent)
- Public star: you say yes when you leave “Keep my star private” unticked and press “Light my star in the public sky.” The form tells you first what we keep, who sees it, and how to remove it.
- Private star: your star’s details aren’t sent to us, so there’s nothing to agree to.
- Prayer: you tick a box to say yes before your request is shared.
- You can take back your yes any time. See “How to ask” below.
Who we share it with
- Public stars and prayers show on our website for everyone. A public star shows the first names, date and message you add.
- Service providers who run our site and email for us: Namecheap (hosting), Cloudflare (security) and Google (Gmail). They may use it only to help us.
- We never sell it. We don’t share it for advertising. We don’t use it for ads.
- Our Meta Pixel (only with your yes) runs only on our home, shop, Brand Merch and Grand Opening pages and never gets anything you share here.
